Seatrees
Seatrees restores coastal ecosystems to boost biodiversity, support local communities, and reverse climate change.
About Seatrees
Seatrees is non-profit dedicated to restoring and protecting coastal ecosystems that help reverse climate change. We partner directly with local communities and scientists to regenerate coastal marine ecosystems — mangrove and kelp forests, seagrass meadows, coral reefs, and ridge-to-reef watersheds — some of the most powerful natural carbon sinks on the planet.
Our work goes beyond carbon. Every Seatrees project supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, creating jobs, rebuilding biodiversity, and strengthening coastal resilience for communities most impacted by climate change.
What We Do
Through our platform, individuals and brands can take direct, measurable action for the ocean — planting trees and funding verified restoration projects while sharing their impact through transparent storytelling and reporting. From removing urchins in California to restoring mangroves in Kenya, each Seatree planted helps regenerate ecosystems that sustain life on Earth.
Our Vision
We believe the ocean has the superpower to reverse climate change — if we protect and restore it.
By 2030, our goal is to support 100 restoration projects worldwide, empowering local communities to lead ocean restoration and helping the planet heal itself, one Seatree at a time.

Seatrees - Reforest the Ocean
Seatrees makes it easy for anyone who cares about the ocean (don’t we all) to directly support communities planting and protecting blue-carbon coastal ecosystems. The most effective way to suck carbon out of the atmosphere - Period.
